1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service govern the relationship between Kadego ("we", "us") and any individual or business ("you", "the client") who purchases or uses our services. By placing an order or using our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Our Services
We offer AI chat widget services for small business websites, including:
- Widget Build — design and development of a custom AI chat widget tailored to your business
- Widget Installation — integration of the widget into your existing website
- Monthly Maintenance — ongoing hosting, updates, and support for your widget
The exact scope of each engagement is agreed upon at the time of order. We will confirm the deliverables in writing before work begins.
3. Ordering and Payment
- Orders are placed via our website or by direct agreement over email
- Work begins only after payment has been received or a payment arrangement has been confirmed in writing
- Prices are as listed on our website at the time of order and are in EUR unless otherwise stated
- We reserve the right to update pricing with reasonable notice; existing confirmed orders are not affected
4. Delivery
- We will provide an estimated delivery timeframe at the time of order
- Timelines may be affected by delays in receiving required materials from you (e.g. brand assets, website access, content)
- We will communicate proactively if any delay arises on our end
5. Your Responsibilities
To deliver your project, you may need to provide:
- Access to your website (CMS credentials, FTP, or equivalent)
- Brand assets (logo, colours, fonts)
- Information about your business and the use case for the widget
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any materials you provide to us. You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose or to deliver content that is misleading, harmful, or in violation of applicable law.
You acknowledge that you are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content configured in or displayed by your widget to your end users, including compliance with any regulations applicable to your industry.
6. AI-Specific Conditions
Our widgets are powered by AI language models. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept the following:
AI responses are not guaranteed to be accurate. AI systems can produce incorrect, incomplete, or outdated responses (commonly referred to as "hallucinations"). We make no warranty as to the factual accuracy of any response generated by the widget.
You are responsible for reviewing widget behaviour. Before deploying a widget to your customers, you are responsible for testing it and ensuring that its responses are appropriate for your business context.
Your end users' reliance on the widget is your responsibility. We are not liable for decisions made by your customers based on widget responses.
Regulated industries. If your business operates in a regulated field — including but not limited to legal services, medical or healthcare services, financial advice, or insurance — you acknowledge that the widget does not constitute professional advice of any kind. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the widget complies with all applicable professional and regulatory requirements, and for including any legally required disclaimers in your widget configuration.
7. No Guarantee of Results or Uptime
- We do not guarantee any specific business outcomes from use of a Kadego widget, including but not limited to conversion rates, lead volume, customer engagement, or revenue impact
- We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted availability of any AI-powered component of the widget. Service interruptions may occur due to third-party AI provider outages, hosting issues, or scheduled maintenance
- We will make reasonable efforts to maintain service availability and communicate planned downtime in advance
8. Changes to Services
We may modify, update, or discontinue features of our service offering at any time, with reasonable prior notice where possible. We are not liable for any business impact resulting from such changes. Material changes that affect active maintenance plans will be communicated by email with at least 30 days' notice.
9. Revisions and Acceptance
- Each project includes a revision round as specified at the time of order
- Delivery is considered accepted if no written objection is raised within 7 days of delivery
- Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may be quoted separately
10. Refund Policy
- If we are unable to deliver the agreed service, you are entitled to a full refund
- If work has already commenced, a partial refund may be issued proportionate to work not yet completed
- Refunds are not issued for completed and accepted work
- Refund requests must be submitted to [email protected] within 14 days of delivery
11. Intellectual Property
- On full payment, you own the widget as delivered for use on your specified website
- We retain the right to use the project in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing
- Any underlying frameworks, tools, or AI systems used to build the widget remain our property or the property of their respective owners
12. Monthly Maintenance Plans
- Maintenance plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice to [email protected]
- Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of the current billing period
- Upon cancellation, the widget will cease to function at the end of the current billing period. The widget code remains on your website but the AI backend will be deactivated. We do not offer self-hosting of the AI backend as part of standard plans; any such arrangement must be agreed separately in writing
- We reserve the right to discontinue maintenance plans with 60 days' notice, after which the same deactivation terms above apply
13. Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from use of our services
- Our total liability in any dispute is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question
- We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party platforms, hosting providers, AI providers, or website changes made after delivery
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece and the European Union. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Greek courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under EU law.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify active clients of material changes by email.
